or
Via the ZHS homepage:

Note for Freising/Landshut/Triesdorf:
To avoid confusion, the location has been specified in the course title for this sports programme.
You will find the login button in the upper right corner of the website or directly next to bookable courses. In the mobile view, you will find it in the menu (≡), which is also located in the upper right corner.
Depending on your status, there are now different login options:
For students:
Students select ‘Log in with (your university/college) account’ and are then redirected to their university's login page. After successfully logging in there, you will be redirected back to our DBS and logged in. When you log in for the first time, an account linked to your university account will automatically be created in our DBS. You can manage this under ‘My profile’.
If your university does not have a direct partnership with the ZHS, follow the instructions under ‘For other authorised persons’ (see below).
For employees:
Employees of Munich universities with their own university account select ‘Log in with (your university/college) account’ and will then be redirected to their university's login page. After successfully logging in there, you will be redirected back to our DBS and logged in. When you log in for the first time, an account linked to your university account will be automatically created in our DBS. You can manage this account under ‘My Profile’.
If you do not have your own university account or your university/institution does not have a direct partnership with the ZHS, follow the instructions under ‘For other authorised persons’ (see below).
For members of the Booster Club:
Members of the Booster Club will receive an invitation email for their first registration at the email address they have provided to the Friends Association. Use the link in the email to set a password and create your account for members of the Booster Club in our DBS. Once you have added a password and your personal details, you are registered. (IMPORTANT: Only use the email address registered with the Booster Club for your account.)
If you want to log in to our DBS again at a later date, click on ‘Log in with email’ on the login page and then log in with your email address and the password you have set.
Further information about the Booster Club can be found in the FAQs-Förderverein or on our website Förderverein-ZHS Munich.
For other authorised persons (relatives, exchange students, etc.)
All other authorised persons (see ATBs) should contact us via the ZHS contact form before booking a course. Once we have successfully verified your eligibility to participate, you will receive an invitation email.
You can use the link contained therein to set a password and create your account in our DBS. Once you have entered a password and your personal data, you are logged in. If you want to log back into our DBS at a later date, click on ‘Login with email’ on the login page and then log in with your email address and the password you set.
After logging in, you will find your profile and your dashboard for managing your booked course and waiting list places in the top right-hand corner of the website.
Navigate to the Uninow digital booking system and select the desired location (currently only Freising; Munich will be visible on 29 September).
You will now see our entire range of sports courses at the respective location.
TIP: UniNow offers great search and filter functions!
Click through – you can filter by location, sports category or even by available/bookable courses, for example:
Once you have found your desired sport, click on ‘to the offer’. You will now see a short description of the sport and the bookable courses. You will find the courses at the bottom of the page. Each course tile contains the most important organisational information about the respective offer, such as date, time, location, price, etc.
IMPORTANT: Before purchasing the course, please note:
1. the different course locations (Munich/Freising/Triesdorf/Landshut) and different sports halls (on campus in the Olympic Park, in school sports halls, etc.)
2. the different levels of the courses (e.g. beginner, advanced, performance). Please note: it only makes sense to book F and L courses if you have the relevant prior knowledge.
If you have any specific questions about our course offerings, please feel free to contact us using our contact form.
How do I book my sportscourse?
Before you can book a course, you must log in.
Before booking, please check all the relevant details of the course, such as the location, date, required prior knowledge and prerequisites – find the right sports course for you!
Once you have found your desired course, click on ‘Add to basket’ in the correct course tile (if you are not yet logged in, you will see ‘Log in’ instead). The course will be added to your basket and you can decide whether you want to proceed to checkout or add more courses first.
Shopping basket:
In your shopping cart (icon at the top right of the page), you can see all the courses you have added and their estimated costs. Courses in your shopping cart are reserved for you for 15 minutes. This gives you time to finish shopping at your leisure!
PLEASE NOTE: Courses in your shopping cart are not yet considered booked. To do this, you must complete your purchase (see next steps).
Semester fee (formerly Basic Ticket):
It is no longer necessary to book the semester fee (formerly Basic Ticket). This will be automatically added to your shopping basket when you make your first booking of the semester and will be shown in the price list.
Checkout:
Once you click on ‘Checkout’, you will no longer be able to edit your shopping basket and will be redirected to the payment process. At the checkout, you can add and check your personal details and view the final booking price.
Now click on ‘Book with obligation to pay’ to complete the booking.
IMPORTANT: If your booking costs more than €0, your booking is only complete once you have completed the payment process. In this case, you will be redirected to the payment page.
Payment:
Currently, you can only pay by SEPA direct debit. However, we plan to integrate additional payment methods into our DBS from Uninow in the future. Enter your IBAN and click on ‘Book with obligation to pay’ to complete the booking.
Once the booking has been successfully completed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. You can also view your booked courses in your dashboard - my courses.
You can manage your courses in the dashboard. For example, under ‘My courses’ you will find all booked courses and information about the course instructor, the course period and the corresponding schedule.
Clicking on the table row of a course opens a clear overview of all dates for the selected course; you can also see in advance which course units cannot take place.
Course cancellations can be made either by the ZHS or by the participants:
Cancellation by the ZHS:
Announced events/course days may occasionally be cancelled by the ZHS for the following reasons:
- The course day falls on a public holiday.
- The course instructor is unable to attend at short notice and no qualified replacement is available.
- Disruptions to operations (construction work, repairs, etc.)
- The sports facility is occupied by competitions, training courses or other events
- Due to weather conditions
- In cases of force majeure
In the event of cancellation by the ZHS, we will inform you as soon as possible (see ‘My messages’). If you are entitled to compensation, the ZHS will notify you in writing.
Cancellation by participants:
With the UniNow digital booking system, you can cancel your booked courses yourself in your personal profile.
The following conditions must be met for a valid cancellation:
1. The direct debit has not yet been made.
2. The cancellation deadline must be met.
Otherwise, cancellation (even due to illness) is no longer possible.
Please note our new cancellation deadlines and regulations ATBs. The cancellation deadline varies: standard courses can be cancelled up to seven days before the start of the course, outdoor courses and excursions can be cancelled up to four weeks before the start of the course. The applicable cancellation deadline is specified individually for each course.
Our tip: If the course fees are high, take out insurance yourself. Do you have any questions about cancellation? Then please contact ZHS Support using the contact form.
Is your favourite course already fully booked?
Our tip: Take advantage of our fair waiting list and register as soon as possible if you are interested.
Why? As soon as a place becomes available, the waiting list is automatically contacted in the order of the waiting list, which is staggered and sequential. This means that those who registered first will be contacted first. Please note, however, that you only have a limited amount of time to accept the place offered before it is passed on to the next person on the waiting list. If you are no longer interested in the course, you can leave the waiting list by clicking the button in the email.
Methodological teaching courses require compulsory attendance, especially in the early stages – please read the course information carefully before booking and, if you are unable to attend, be sure to contact the course instructors using the notification function.
For all other courses, there is no obligation to provide information, which means that your place on the course will remain reserved. However, please inform us if you will be absent for a longer period of time so that we can pass on your place to those on the waiting list for reasons of fairness.
This varies and can differ depending on the course. Many courses take place at the TUM campus in Munich's Olympic Park, as well as at our locations in Freising, Landshut, Triesdorf or our external locations in Starnberg and Oberschleißheim. In addition, the ZHS has rented school gyms in the city for some of its courses. Outdoor sports in particular take place at various external locations. You can find out more about this by using the location search on our homepage.
Available course places - where can I find them?
You can find available course places using the filter function ‘Show only available offers’.

Booking F, B and K training - what do I need to bear in mind?
Important: you need special prior knowledge or authorisation to book these training courses and participate in them. Without this, participation is not possible! No special requirements are necessary for the B-training course.
Eligibility to participate must be obtained BEFORE booking the relevant introductory or complete course (bookable under Courses) or requires special requirements (K training). These will be stored in your profile after successful completion or corresponding proof.
Only then are you eligible to book the corresponding training courses. A refund of the specific F-, K- and B-training fees is not possibl
After passing the respective introductory course (climbing) or instruction course (strength training ... gym ...), you will receive a certificate. You can upload this when making further bookings in the specific course group. Once we have approved your booking, you will then be able to book F or K training.
If you already have proof, you will be asked to upload this as well and, once we have approved your booking, you can book your F or K training.
If your proof is incorrect, your booking will be cancelled.
