Important information about the start in our new sports campus

Welcome to our new sports complex at the campus in the Olympic Park!

Despite intensive work on the completion of the 1st part of our new sports complex, some areas still need to be perfected after the start of the semester on 18.10.2021. We ask for your understanding and are working flat out to eliminate the remaining "teething problems".

  • Access to the halls: Access to the grounds via the south entrance (see illustration) is strictly prohibited with immediate effect due to the demolition work that has begun. There is an acute danger to life here due to the use of heavy equipment. Access to the TUM Campus building at the Olympiapark is currently only possible via Connollystaße. Signs and beach flags will point out the new entrance to the halls. To find your desired room in the building, please use the current floor plan of the new building.
  • Parking situation: At the TUM Campus in the Olympiapark, there are currently only very limited parking spaces available due to the general construction site situation on the outdoor areas. We will lose further parking spaces when the demolition of the old halls begins soon. We therefore ask you, if at all possible, to use public transport or to come by bicycle. We will therefore provide temporary parking spaces as soon as possible.
  • Cafeteria: Opened
  • Changing rooms: Some designated changing rooms will only be open shortly.
  • Infopoint: The Infopoint is staffed during the semester and in the first and last week of the lecture-free period from Monday - Friday from 16:30 - 20:15. PH: (089) 289-24665. Here you can get all the information you need and answers to many of your questions.
  • Smoking ban: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all buildings on the TUM Campus in the Olympiapark. For fire safety reasons, this also applies in particular to the west terraces and the east entrance area, as well as all areas under the canopy. After completion of the smoking islands agreed with the Staff Council, this strict smoking ban will be extended to the entire grounds of the TUM Campus im Olympiapark.
  • Disturbances: Please report any disturbances to the Infopoint/Pforte.

Thank you for your understanding and have fun in our new rooms and halls.

The ZHS Card - with the move to the new building a new ID card format

After almost 50 years, it has had its day and will not be moving into the new building on 18 October: the yellow ZHS ID card with the riveted photo and the semester tags is going into well-deserved retirement and will be replaced by the ZHS-Card in credit card format.

The yellow paper ID also marks the end of the era of the "H-tag". This will be replaced by the so-called Basic Ticket, which must now be booked by all participants - including users of the Olympic Swimming Hall. Information on the new ticket system can be found here.

The new building also includes a climbing facility (indoor and outdoor) of the latest standard. You can find all important information here.

Please be sure to observe the current hygiene concept due to the pandemic when entering the campus in the Olympic Park.

Opening Hours ZHS-Administration

Please make an appointment with us by phone or at Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory upon entering the campus. Thank you for your understanding.
