From the summer semester 2019 on, the ZHS is a part of the Uni-Liga network and therefore organises the first Uni-Liga in Bavaria. In this tournament teams from all over Germany compete. "In Munich student teams have been competing on the football fields for many years and trying to win the title of the Munich university champions. This will take place as part of the Uni-Liga in an improved format in which the winning team qualifies for the national finale, which is an added value for our participants interested in footfall", explains Andrea Wolfrum, head of the department for ball and game sports, in an interview with the Uni-Liga organisers.

The football tournament takes place during the semester on several days. There are matches taking place every monday or wednesday (depending on the registration) from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm on the northern lawns with the numbers 8 - 11. A match lasts 2x25 mins and is played 6:6 (5 field players + 1 goalkeeper). Each team is allowed to register up to 12 players.
